بشائر هوساوي
Bashaer Hawsawi discusses her work for the Islamic Arts Biennale 2025 — My Gift to You is a Garden. A childhood memory of sweeping the courtyard. A family history of serving pilgrims. Acts of care, repeated — and transformed. In My Gift to You is a Garden, Bashaer Hawsawi weaves together personal stories of purification, hospitality, and hidden inner rituals. Through a sculptural installation of broom-like forms, the work reflects on strength, fragility, and the gestures that cleanse both space and spirit. In her interview, the artist explores how repetition, duality, and memory shape a deeply personal journey toward clarity. Contemplate this garden of meaning and reflect on what lies within you at the Islamic Arts Biennale, at the Western Hajj Terminal of King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah.
